If you take the Vlissingen-Breskens ferry, you can easily reach the Belgian towns of Bruges and Ghent. On motorway A58 in the direction of Vlissingen, take the exit towards Middelburg and continue in the direction of Domburg. This will lead you through Oostkapelle. Drive around the tower and turn left towards the Centrum. You are now on the Dorpsstraat and will find the hotel on your right-hand side. Coming from Schouwen-Duiveland: Cross the Zeelandbrug (bridge), the Oosterscheldekering (dyke) towards Middelburg. At the traffic lights at the Serooskerke (church), turn right in the direction of the Oostkapelle. Upon arrival at the Oostkapelle: Drive around the tower and turn left towards the Centrum. You are now on the Dorpsstraat and will find the hotel on your right-hand side. By public transportation: Take the train to Middelburg and change onto the bus in the direction of Domburg. You can either exit at stop Oostkapelle toren or at Oostkapelle Rabobank. Sun, sea (with the cleanest water along the entire Dutch coastline), broad and sandy beaches (awarded the ‘blue flag ’ of recognition more than once), surrounded by superb woodland, all of which contribute towards giving you a first-class holiday feeling. A trip to the beautiful beaches, an inspiring cycle trip, walks and rambles, or just lazing around in the sun all ensure that young and old can totally relax. Oostkapelle is also an ideal base for many enjoyable day-trips. Walcheren is renowned for its places of interest, such as Middelburg with its monuments and historic buildings, the picturesque town of Veere or the imposing Delta Works.
