Built virtually on the Walker Bay shoreline, every room at the Whale Sanctuary Lodge offers breathtaking sea views and unsurpassed luxury. Just 2 hours away from Cape Town, Hermanus is famous for being the world’s best location for whale watching. Especially between August and November, you can see whales every day from shore. Now a thriving tourist destination, the area has maintained the charms of the fishing village it once was. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - booking is essential. For a true taste of the Cape, be sure to try the chef`s delicious original Cape Malay lamb curry. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. From Cape Town: Take the N2 over Sir Lowry`s Pass and continue over Houwhoek Pass. as you go down the pass, there is a turn off (R43) to Hermanus. Continue straight through Hermanus and keep going straight, past Stanford. Turn right at the first De Kelders sign coming from Stanford. Drive down Guthri Street towards the sea.
