Peebles Country Retreat *****This unique family-owned retreat, set in the magnificent trout fishing village of Dullstroom, is the ideal stopover when visiting the Kruger National Park and the luxury camps in the lowveld. Peebles is Dullstroom’s leading boutique hotel and it reveals the timelessness of a bygone era combined with the luxury and elegance of today in simply breathtaking surroundings. Its luxury suites are 107 m² in size and the hotel is ideal for romantic getaways as well as conferences and meetings. At Peebles Country Retreat we offer you personalised, warm, unobtrusive service. We pay a great deal of attention to detail to ensure your comfort. With only 14 suites and rooms, exclusivity is guaranteed. In addition to our extensive existing collection, our wine cellar has seen the arrival of a number of new releases. These include private bin and Nederburg Auction wines. Our cuisine continues to draw guests from far and wide. Our exciting and inspirational menu varies according to the seasonal availability of the fresh, organically grown produce from our farm. Naturally this includes trout from our own water, which is caught and delivered fresh to the hotel each day. Dine by our roaring log fire or enjoy a leisurely breakfast in our sun-drenched dining room. We are proud to have one of South Africa`s best stocked whisky bars and an elegant restaurant for fine dinning. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 32 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. One child under 4 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. 1 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. Internet: Internet via modem is available in the business centre and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. At the first stop in Dullstroom (coming from Belfast/Johannesburg), turn right and proceed 50m. At the second stop in Dullstroom (coming from Lydenburg), turn left and proceed 50m. Dullstroom, South Africa’s highest town, is renowned for its cold winter nights and excellent trout fishing.
