De Dankbaarheid [Apartments]

A floating monument along the Dutch coast, this authentic “tjotter” sailboat provides unique accommodation in cosy cabins, in the harbour of historical Stavoren.

Dating back to 1908, the sailboat De Dankbaarheid adds a traditional feel to your stay on the water. The characteristic sitting area provides a warm atmosphere for relaxing with a drink and a snack. Gaze out across the water through the low portholes.

Start your day with a wholesome breakfast in the owner’s restaurant De Hobbelschuit, not far from the boat. Part of the national Dutch cultural heritage, De Dankbaarheid offers a special base for exploring cultural and historical sites.
