Mellow Cotswold stone forms a backdrop for this privately owned 18th century hotel.

A friendly welcome awaits both guests & local residents in the stone- flagged bar & adjacent brasserie, serving an extensive menu to suit a variety of tastes.

On booking all we ask for is your credit card details, no charges will be taken until depart.

Our cancellation policy is 7 days notice, late cancellation or a no show charge of 100% of booking value.

Children are welcome into our hotel and we have a special menu for them to choose from.

We provide both smoking and non smoking facilities to satisfy our customer needs, all of our bedrooms are non-smoking rooms.

Pets are also welcome in to the building and rooms.

-From M5 take M40 to Burford at Junction 11
-From M4 take the A419 at Junction 15 and then the A361 to Burford.
-From Oxford City Centre travel North up Woodstock Road (A4144) then take the A40 towards Witney at the first roundabout.
-Burford is around 30-40 minutes from the A40.
-On entering Burford `The Golden Pheasant` is on the main high street half way up or down the hill. We are directly opposite `Orvis`, a fishing tackle shop.
