Rockcliffe Hotel ***Overlooking the Irish Sea, Rockcliffe Hotel is situated on Blackpool’s North Promenade seafront and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackpool Tower, the Winter Gardens and many theatres, bars and night clubs. An en suite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at Rockcliffe, as well as a hairdryer. A full-size pool table and slot machine game can be found in the games room. The family-friendly bar area and sun lounge overlook the sea and world-famous illuminations. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room each morning, as well as fresh pancakes with maple syrup and lighter options such as grapefruit segments and cereals. From the M55 motorway: - Continue for the Promenade (clearly signposted), past the Tower and North Pier (with the sea on your left). - We are half a mile north of North Pier. From North Pier you`ll pass the Metropole Hotel on your left, the Revills and Royal York. We are situated between the Royal York and Tiffanys (big pink one). - Pull into the car park and give us a wave to help you with your bags. By train: A taxi ride from the train station takes a few minutes. Walking: - As you leave the platform, turn right and exit the train station via the smaller exit by the parcels office. - This brings you onto Dickson Road. Keep walking till you see a cafe named Xanders. - Turn left onto the Promenade then right past Manhattan & Royal York Hotel. We are situated 2 hotels past Royal York. By coach: National Express coach services operate to and from Blackpool throughout the year. From Lonsdale Road coach park (South Shore): - Make your way to the promenade and catch a tram north. - Exit the tram at the Claremont Hotel. - Alternatively, you can take a taxi. Talbot Road bus station is next to the train station. Follow directions above. Blackpool Airport is about 6 miles away, from where you can take a taxi. The hotel is situated on the North Promenade which is the quieter area of town, but near enough to walk to the North Pier, Tower, Coral Island, Winter Gardens and Sea Life Centre.
