The Angel Hotel [Apartments]Set in the Forest of Dean between the River Wye and River Severn, this hotel has seen many changes over the centuries. Situated in the town centre of Coleford, The Angel Hotel is located within one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of England, with a rich and varied history. The ponds are well looked after and the fishing can, at times, be even better than on the river. The Forest of Dean’s scenery gives added pleasure to fishing at Meadowcliffe Pool, Lightmoor, Marion`s Pool, Steam Mills Lake and other surrounding locations. Walk with llamas and camels in the beautiful Forest of Dean at Severn Wye Llama Trekking. Severnvale Equestrian Centre is 21.6 km away and is set in 60 acres of beautiful countryside. This approved riding centre offers friendly, experienced and thoughtful instruction to complete beginners and experienced riders alike. Forest Combat Paintballing, Go Ape!, Motiva Ropes Course, Wye Pursuits, Monmouth Canoe & Activity Centre and Yeehaa Outdoors Ltd provide opportunities for outdoor activities and adventure.
