From Glasgow:
- Take the A82 along the side of Loch Lomond.

- 6 miles south of Tarbert, take the B842 down the east side of Kintyre to Carradale.
- The hotel is on the main road running through the village on the right-hand side.

Carradale is a popular holiday village and busy fishing harbour. Carradale lies at the centre of a network of forest and coastal walks. This stretch of coast has a number of pleasant coves and beaches, easily accessed.

It is roughly mid-way between Campbeltown and Claonaig, making it an ideal stopping point for cyclists.
