Church Townhouse [Apartments]Family run, the Church Townhouse is a recently refurbished Victorian property in a quiet suburban location, minutes from Cardiff city centre and less than a mile (1.6 km) from the Millennium Stadium. This guest house has a convenient location within walking distance of many of Cardiff’s major attractions, such as Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Bay. Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium is within easy walking distance. Owned by the Church family, the house has been recently refurbished and aims to offer guests cosy, comfortable accommodation. All of the rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Toiletries are available on request. Most of the rooms are en suite, with a shower. Some rooms also have baths. The single rooms do not have an en suite bathroom, but there are private shower/bathrooms outside the rooms. A continental breakfast is included in the price. There is a lounge area for guests’ use. All guests are given their own key and are free to come and go as they please, accessing the building at any time. A continental breakfast is included in the price of the room. A full English breakfast is available at an extra cost, and must be pre-ordered on arrival. Evening meals are also available and must be pre-ordered. Please see a member of staff on arrival. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. Full English breakfast costs GBP 5.00 per person. Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. By Air: The Church Townhouse is approximately 10 miles (16 km) from Cardiff International Airport. Taxis are readily available from just outside the airport. There is also a bus service from the airport at selected times. By Bus: There are regular bus services running all around Cardiff and the surrounding area. There bus stops along Cathedral Road at regular intervals. The Church Townhouse is situated in Pontcanna, backing onto the grounds of the castle grounds and the SWALEC Cricket Stadium. The Millennium Stadium is less than a mile (1.6 km) away and is 1.25 miles (2 km) from Cardiff International Arena and the shopping centre. Cardiff boasts a large selection of shops with a selection of unique individual shops in the Victorian arcades. The city also has a huge selection of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and cafes to chose from and staff are always happy to point you in the right direction. Close by is the bay, with a further selection of bars. St Fagans National History Museum is an open-air museum, providing a fascinating insight into Welsh history and the lifestyle, culture and architecture of the Welsh people through the ages.
