Ryokan Shinsen is a 20-minute drive from Takachiho Jinja Shrine, and the sea of clouds at Kunimi-ga-Oka or `Nirvana in Aso` can be visited a 15-minute drive away.Takachiho Bus Centre is a 10-minute walk away, while Kumamoto Airport is within a 90-minute drive.
