Vakarufalhi Island Resort ****Featuring coconut trees and white sandy beaches, Vakarufalhi Island is tucked away in a remote corner of the South Ari Atoll. It is 90 km to Male International Aiport from Vakarufalhi Island Resort. The journey is a 25-minute flight by seaplane from the airport followed by a 10-minute ride in a traditional dhoni boat. Please note that any cancellations within 7 days are subject to be charged 100% of the booked nights in addition to a one-way seaplane transfer on a per-guest basis. Transfer to Vakarufalhi Island Resort is via a seaplane transfer from Malé International Airport. You will land at Maafushivaru Platform and take a traditional fishing boat (dhoni) ride to Paradise Island, which takes 10 minutes. Seaplane transfer advisory: • Baggage allowance is 25 kg and 5 kg for hand luggage per person. Excess baggage is chargeable and must be paid directly to the airline at USD 4 per 1 kg. • The resort must receive full flight details at least 7 days prior to guest arrival in order to guarantee the seaplane seats.
