The Beach House Iruveli *****On the northern-most Haa Alif private island, The Beach House Iruveli provides luxurious beach and over-water villas with private outdoor pools and free Wi-Fi. An on-site PADI dive centre, 3 additional outdoor pools and pampering spa treatments are available. The property is spread over 35 acres of peaceful white sandy beach, and is accessible by either sea plane or domestic flight transfers from Male. Spacious and air-conditioned, all villas are equipped with a flat-screen TV, Nespresso machine and a pillow menu. Non-alcoholic minibar items are provided for free throughout the stay. The over-water villas enjoy panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. En suite bathrooms come with a relaxing rainshower, and some have a spa bathtub. The Beach House Iruveli is a 30-minute boat ride from beautiful snorkelling sites. It takes at least 1-hour and 10 minutes` to get to the resort from Male, about 320 km away. Over the water, Saffron Restaurant serves a daily champagne breakfast, while the beachfront Medium Rare offers sizzling grilled meats and lobster buffets. Premium wine and cheese are available at The Cellar, located below the sea. Other dining options include international dishes at Four Corners, home-made pizzas at the pool-side Amazon, tapas at Saltwater and Asian food at the exclusive Infiniti lounge. Guests can lounge at the beach, or enjoy water sports such as diving, snorkelling and fishing. A fitness centre and flood-lit tennis courts are available for those who wish to exercise. The tour desk can also help to arrange day trips to nearby islands and snorkelling spots. The resort provides a mandatory transfer by seaplane or domestic plane/speedboat from Male. Guests must provide their arrival details to the hotel at least 7 days prior to the stay. Failure to do so may result in additional waiting time at the lounge, or overnight stays in Male at your own cost. Seaplane transfer cost USD 898 (inclusive of tax) per adult. Children from 2 – 11 years old enjoy a 50% discount. Seaplane transfer is available only during daylight hours. Guests arriving at Maldives on an international flight after 15:00 or leaving the island before 09:30 will require an overnight stay in Male and will be transferred the next morning on the first available flight. Seaplane operation requires a minimum of 6 bookings and transfers can only be confirmed and finalised on a day by day basis. Beach House Iruveli reserves the right to alter the method of transport. Should Beach House Iruveli need to rebook a guest from seaplane to a domestic flight for any reason, the difference in flight charge will be refunded to the client Alternatively, guests can take a 45-minute domestic flight from Male to Hanimaadhoo, followed by a 40-minute speedboat transfer to the resort.
