Set in the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, this house enjoys scenic views over lush green areas and the mountain side. The 19th century Casa do Brasão is a fully restored and stylishly decorated unit with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

The 3-bedroom home features a living area with sofas, a fireplace, flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. The house also includes an equipped kitchen, private bathroom, terrace and a patio.

Guests are welcome to prepare their own meals in the property’s kitchen, which features all the necessary appliances and utensils. Barbecue facilities are also available. For more options, guests can try the local restaurants, most within a 10-minute drive from the property.

After a dip in the outdoor pool, guests can relax in the sun loungers while enjoying the unique view that the sun terrace has to offer. The cottage is surrounded by a garden with huge granite boulders and cork oak trees.

The Marvão centre is a 13-minute drive. It is a 15-minute drive from the Spanish border. For golfing fans, the Ammaia Marvão Golf Course is a 15-minute drive from the property. It is a 16-minute drive from Castelo de Vide which has cafés, restaurants and supermarkets.

Valência de Alcântara, over the Spanish border, is a 29-minute drive. The local train station is a 6-minute drive from the Casa do Brasão.
