Hotel Meister ***A friendly structure, a family management and a refind kitchen allow the Hotel Meister to be the right destination for a relaxing holiday or a business trip.The building has 80 comfort rooms. The restaurant recalls "la belle epoque". The bar is the meeting-point between the guests.The swimming-pool is the right place where you can enjoy yourself sunbathing and relaxing on our comfortable deck-chairs. The hotel is located only 1 min. walking from the city centre and only 3 min. walking from the lake. Unsecured parking free of charge and without any reservation. Internet access at the hotel: wireless ( wireless card required) & ADSN. Small pets allowed for CHF 8 per day. In the dinin-groom you can savour the different menus suggested by our Chef or delight your palate with our "a la carte" kitchen. At lunch time you can have our business-lunch menu on the terrace or in the garden close to the swimming pool. Our cellar satisfys everybody offering a vaste choice of wines from the region. History: In 1894,under the supervision of Federico Meister, the Hotel Meister, respecting the best of Swiss style and tradition cuopled with imaginative innovation became one of the most fashionable family owned establishments in Lugano. The actual owners, the Migliavacca-Zoppi family, keep offering the same standards which have been the Hotel Meisters hallmark for over a century. How to reach us: BY CAR: FROM NORTH BY HIGHWAY A2: Exit Lugano-Sud, by the roundabout take the second exit Follow the main road (direction Lugano Lago) until the traffic light Turn right in Via Geretta, keep left, after 250 meters you will see the white building of the Hotel Meister FROM SOUTH BY HIGHWAY A2:Exit Lugano sud, following direction Lugano Lago; Keep right, by the traffic light, turn right (direction Paradiso), in Via Geretta, after 250 meters on your left side you will see the white building of the Hotel Meister BY TRAIN: From the main station of Lugano you can take wheater a taxi (it costs about CHF 20.- ) or the bus number 2. Get off at the busstation called Geretta in Paradiso, walk ahead for 200 meters bus direction and on your left side you will see the Hotel Meister. The ticket costs about 1.50 CHF one way BY PLANE: By the airport Lugano-Agno you can take the shuttle bus CHF 10.-, one every hour or take a taxi CHF 35.- Shuttle-bus price (Milano-Malpensa): CHF 30.- Total number of rooms: 81 |
