The Grand Hotel Europe, built in 1872, combines a grand past with a contemporary outlook and is distinguished by its subtitle elegance, attentive service and warm hospitality. Our traditional 4 star hotel, with its 180 individually furnished rooms, was tastefully renovated during the last years. The hotel is in a prestigious location near the esplanade, 10 minutes away from the city centre. Parking is available at the hotel.

Children up to 6 years in parents room: free of charge;
Children from 6 - 12 years: 50 % discount in parents room;
Children from 12-16 years: 25% discount in parent`s room;
max. 2 children in parent`s room

At least 24 hours before day of arrival. For cancellation within 24 hours, 1 night will be charged.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Lucerne is located in the heart of Switzerland and is easily reached from the A2 highway (Basle - Gothard - Milan). Leave the highway at the "Luzern Zentrum" exit if you are arriving from the north, or "Luzern Süd" if you are arriving from the south. In the city, follow the signs to "Küssnacht" or "Verkehrshaus".
Bus stop in front of the hotel (Bus Nr. 6 + 8), journey to the centre of the city lasts 5 minutes, busses run frequently.

The centre of the city is within walking distance, lovely walk along the lake side promenade, 10 minutes.
