- Approach via the A7 motorway and exit at Kempten
- Continue towards Marktoberdorf and then head towards Schongau / Garmisch-Partenkirchen
- Once you reach Saulgrub, turn left towards Bad Kohlgrub

- Approaching from Munich, head towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen and exit at Großweil/Murnau
- Continue via Murnau and head towards Oberammergau until you reach Bad Kohlgrub

The Ammergau Alps and their surroundings are rich in cultural treasures and natural monuments. In the area around the hotel, there is much to explore and discover. Nature lovers will appreciate a visit to the Zugspitze mountain, the Graswangtal valley, the river Ammer and the Schleierfälle waterfalls.

Art lovers should visit Münter`s House in Murnau, where you can stroll along the tracks of The Blue Rider. The nearby towns of Garmisch Partenkirchen and Oberammergau are also worth visiting.
