Berghotel Schwaitlalm ****Located in Elsbethen on the southern outskirts of Salzburg, the small, hospitable Berghotel Schwaitlalm is an ideal starting point for walking, hiking and mountain biking. Offering only 15 rooms, the hotel is lovingly furnished with traditional details. The large Kaisersaal (Emperor??™s Room) allows festivities with a high number of guests. Hotel facilities include a cosy bar decorated in Italian marble, a seminar room and 80 parking spaces (free of charge). The hotel garden with its sunbathing area invites to relax. The large terrace with its huge parasol guarantees a beautiful view over the valley to the mountains. The cuisine of Schwaitlalm offers local and traditional meals. The cakes come from our own bakery. There is a separate room for smokers. We also prepare a packed lunch in our Schwaitlalm backpack for you when you are on a cycling or hiking tour. (???Dry Gorges???) or onto the Gaisberg mountain with its pristine mountain pastures. There are also many mountain bike trails through forests and meadows. It takes you only a 5-minute drive from the Salzburg-South motorway exit to reach a beautiful landscape in the foothills of the Alps. Hellbrunn Palace with its trick fountains is 8 km away, the Untersberg 10 km and the summer toboggan run in Hof 15 km.
