The history of this first Gothic building in Prague dates back to the 13th century, when it was constructed as part of the St. Agnes monastery. The 2 buildings and the summer garden are historical landmarks. It remained part of the St. Agnes monastery until the 16th century. In the 17th century it was renamed ‘Casa Marcello’ after its owner, a member of an important Italian aristocratic family.
