Pension U Rejdare ****

The entimal guesthouse `U Rejdare` (The Shipowner) is situated on the bank of the pond in the village Zvikovske Podhradi, a very attractive tourist spot close to Lake Orlik.

Swimming pool, Whirl pool Sauna and Garden area closed due to construction. This will be open to public as from 15th June 2007 at the earliest.

1 Baby cot and 1 baby seat is available for free. Please note that the baby cot has to be reserved in advance.
Children until the age of 12 years can stay for free when sharing a room with the parents.

Buffet breakfast will be served daily from 7.30 am to 11 am. You can choose where you want to have breakfast: in the restaurant, in the garden or in the room!

Our restaurant has got a homely atmosphere with pleasant service that will with pleasure fulfill all human taste wishes. At our restaurant lounge for 40 guests people celebrate weddings, parties, reunions or they are supposedly using it for company training.

Cancellation made up to at least 5 days prior arrival date ( hotel local time ) are free of charge. Later or in case of no show the first night will be charged as a cancellation fee.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Internet facilities:
Unfortunately the hotel does not offer any Internet access to guests, but there is an Internet Cafe app. 400m away from the hotel.

Pets:
Cats and dogs are allowed to bring along for free.

Disabled facilities:
Unfortunately the hotel is not accessible for wheel chairs.

Extra beds:
are available on request. Please note that the hotel offer extra beds only in 4 rooms, so they have to be reserved in advance. Cost: depends on season!

Arrival by car:
Take the road "R4" from "Pratur" to "Strakonice", after 80 km ( close to "Mirotice" ) turn onto road "121" and follow this road for app. the next 15 km ( pass village "Smetanova Lhota", then village "Varvažov" on your left hand, pass through the village "Wolf" and cross the bridge over the river "Otava". Follow the street up the hill for app. 500 meters and by the cross turn left and drive app. 50 meters in direction "Zvíkov ( Zvíkovské Podhradí )". In front of the pond turn right. Our pension is the first house in the village "Zvíkovské Podhradí", directly at the bank of the mentioned pond.

Parking information:
Please not that the hotel offers free open, but fenced parking lots for hotel guests!

Arrival by public transportation:
Nearest train station - "Vlastec" ( railway road "Písek ??“ Tábor" ), app. 7km from the hotel away.
Nearest bus station - "Zvíkovské Podhradíin", app. 100 m from the hotel away.

Arrival from the airport:
The next airport is !Prague - Ruzyně". The hotel can arrange pick up anytime at the rate of CZK 2.000 / car. Please inform the hotel about your flight number and estimated time of arrival!

Castle Zvíkov: distance - 1 km from our guesthouse
Castle Orlík: distance - 1 km from our guesthouse to port and 1-hour steamer voyage
Town Písek: distance - approximately 17 km from our guesthouse
Castle Bechyně: distance - approximately 30 km from our guesthouse

Fans of adrenalin sports can even jump from an aeroplane or jump from the bridge. Even horse riding or cross-country skiing ( if there is enough snow in the winter ) gives possibility to visit beautiful places in our neighbourhood ??“ do not be afraid, we will lend you a map.
For a short trip ( for a ball ) it is ideal to choose golf. Or short trip to local fishponds to go in for sporty angling or angling with fishing guide.
And starting in season 2007 you can go only several steps from your room to our garden and already you may enjoy yourself in pool, sauna or whirlpool bath.
