Faxing is also available. The Golden Lion Hotel is proud to be associated with MIZU Noodle Bar, located at the front of the Hotel, and voted in the top 50 restaurants in Suffolk. MIZU is a modern oriental restaurant, combining dishes from all over the Far East with a relaxed, casual atmosphere. There are over 80 dishes on the menu. Modern Ipswich is a thriving town, with great shopping during the day, and a vibrant nightlife, and The Golden Lion Hotel is in the centre of it all. A 5 minute walk in any direction will take you around all the major stores, restaurants and bars. You will also quickly find the 2 multiplex cinemas, and the popular Corn Exchange & Regent theatre only a few minutes away. For football fans, the Ipswich Town Football ground is no more than a 10 minute walk. All Rooms are en-suite. Bathrooms and have recently been refurbished. Due to being a Town Centre Hotel, the rooms can be loud on market days and weekends. Mizu Noodle Bar offers the cutting edge of modern Oriental dining, with over 80 dishes from all over the Far East combined with a relaxed, informal, fast service. All residents will receive a 10% discount if they choose to dine in MIZU. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. By Car: - Head for the town centre of Ipswich. - Follow the signs for Civic Drive, where the police station and courts are located. - Turn left at the police station onto Elm Street and follow the road to the end, being careful not to follow Elm Street onto Museum Street.
