Menzies Leofric Hotel ***The Menzies Leofric Hotel has 97 en-suite bedrooms and is located in the heart of Coventry`s modern city centre. The hotel offers superb conference & banqueting facilities, accommodating up to 600 delegates. Standing in the heart of Coventry city centre, in the shopping area, just 200 metres from the Cathedral, the Menzies Leofric is a hive of activity and is acknowledged as one of Coventry`s finest hotels. This friendly hotel renowned as the first to be built in Britain after the second world war, offers 94 well equipped en-suite bedrooms. The Black Eagle bar with its lively atmosphere is a popular choice for guests to enjoy a drink and the Brasserie restaurant offers guests a varied and interesting menu. With a choice of eleven function suites, the Menzies Leofric offers fine conference facilities. The main rooms all enjoy natural daylight, are fully air-conditioned and easily accessible on the first floor. The hotel does not have a free car park, although residents of the hotel receive a discount on off-site car parking. Menzies Hotels have introduced their own brand of modern & sophisticated restaurant called The Brasserie. The ambiance is light, bright, airy & chic. Our flexible menus are designed for taste, interest and enjoyment. You may have starters as main courses, there is both a Fixed Price Menu and a la carte available for both lunch and dinner and each Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday lunch. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 20.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 17.50 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is not included and costs GBP 14.95 per person. Parking: Public parking is possible at a location nearby and costs GBP 7.00 per day. Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. By car, leave the ring road at Junction 9 or 2 and follow signs for city centre West Orchards car park. Park in the blue zone and the hotel is opposite (free car parking is available between 5.30pm and 9.00am).
