Dormy House [Apartments]The Dormy House is a fully modernised Victorian house offering guest accommodation, located between Portsmouth and Southampton. Ideally located for both business and pleasure in the local area and within half a mile of the river Hamble. All rooms at the Dormy House are ensuite and include coffee & tea making facilities, remote control televisions, direct dial telephones and hairdriers. There is a comfortable lounge with an honesty bar, a social dining room and a beautiful summer garden for guests to enjoy. Dormy House is situated in a quiet residential area and set well back from the road, offering ample complimentary parking. We are particularly proud of the level of repeat business from regular travellers. Please note the property is now non-smoking. Restaurant is for breakfast only, which is served from 0730 to 0830 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 0900 Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Check in`s after 22:00 can be arranged with prior notification. From the West: Exit Junction 8 of the m27, turning right at the end of the slip road, back under the motorway, up to a large roundabout. Take the first exit signposted Bursledon and Parkgate, then follow the road to the traffic lights. Go straight on and you will go up a hill. At the top of the hill you will come to Barnes Lane. Turn right into Barnes Lane, the Dormy House is 2 km on the right hand side. From the East: Exit junction 9 of the M27, turning left at the end of the slip road. Get into the right hand lane and at the big roundabout take the fifth exit, signposted Park Gate. At the next roundabout bear left, then go straight across 2 more roundabouts until you come to Sarisbury. Approximately 1 km after sign you will come to Barnes Lane. Turn left into Barnes Lane and Dormy House is 2 km down on the right. Total number of rooms: 12 |
