The Angel Inn [Апартаменты]Village centre location, set in own gardens, 2 minute walk to Lake Windermere, shops, pubs, restaurants The Angel Inn is the perfect base for your holiday; set in an ideal central location in Bowness-on-Windermere, amongst gardens and grounds with views of the high Lake District fells, and only a few minutes walk from the lake, shops and other attractions. Built in 1802 as an English gentleman`s residence, the ground floor of The Angel Inn has recently been refurbished to offer comfortable and stylish surroundings with a contemporary feel, without losing that traditional ambience of a true Lake District retreat. Our comfortable bedrooms are all en suite with a bath or shower. Every room comes equipped with colour TV, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and toiletries. Whilst staying at The Angel, why not take a drink from our well-stocked bar, where a real fire blazes on a winter`s day. We serve locally brewed beer, and all of our world wines are available by the glass. Our superb food, prepared by our award-winning chefs, can be enjoyed in a relaxed and informal atmosphere in any one of our lounge or bar areas. If you prefer, you can dine al fresco on our large, sunny terraced beer garden, the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by. All of our guests also receive free access to the nearby Spinnaker Leisure Club, where you can go swimming, use the gym or steam room, or enjoy a game of pool. Eat... drink... relax... Be a Devil, try the Angel Children older than 15 years are considered adult for room occupancy. Children no older than 2 year(s) can stay for free. Breakfast is served from 08:30 until 09:30. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 16:00. Dinner is served from 17:00 until 21:00. Reservations must be cancelled 7 days in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, the cost of the entire reservation will be charged. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. All bedrooms are non smoking. There is a 50.00 gbp charge if you smoke in a bedroom. A deposit of the first night`s stay taken from your card is required for all reservations. This will only be refunded if you cancel within our cancellation policy. We do not accept cheques. Cots are available at a cost of 10 gbp. Directions travelling by car Leave the m6 Motorway at Junction 36 (signposted Kendal and South Lakes) and follow the a591 (via Kendal By- Pass) to Windermere. Following signs to Bowness and the Lake, leave the A591 and drive through Windermere village to Bowness. Before descending the steep hill in the centre of Bowness, turn left at the Lakeland shop into Helm Road. Crag Brow is on your immediate right. Directions travelling by train Windermere is connected to the main Euston - Glasgow line at Oxenholme Station. Taxis or Buses run regularly directly from Windermere Station to Bowness and Crag Brow.
