Our position is one of the finest on the Promenade, with an uninterrupted panoramic view over the Irish Sea. We are nestled in the quieter end of town, close to Gardens and Park areas and the North Shore Golf Course. We are far enough from the town center to ensure peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of Shops, the Piers, Blackpool Tower, the theatres and all the Nightlight of Blackpool`s Golden Mile.

The Sherwood Hotel is a 25 bedroom hotel with that personal touch that so often has been forgotten at many hotels. We can provide those important little extras such as hair dryers and early morning calls.

Our licensed Dining Room, with beautiful sea views, is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We serve first class food with a choice of menu to suit all tastes. Quality and quantity are so important to all of us. Our Menu, which changes daily, offers a wide selection to please all. Vegetarian and Special diets are catered for, and your special requests are always given the utmost attention.

New year, Bank holiday and weekends are minimum of two nights. For Christmas and New year 50% deposit would be required and the remaining amount need to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.

Coming off the m55 junction 1 sign posted Blackpool/Lytham, at the top of the hill right hand lane, follow Blackpool not Lytham. Keep on the main road you will pass a windmill. On the left you will pass McDonalds, proceed along the main road through 3 sets of lights you will pass csl beds/Oxford square on you left. Follow town centre signs after the main car parks turn left towards the promenade, turn right onto the promenade and head North. Go past the Tower, North Pier, Imperial and the Hilton. Just before you approach the roundabout The Sherwood Hotel is on your right hand side. From Blackpool North railway station taxi will cost you about 4.00
