Hotel Skye **The friendly, family-run hotel with new, experienced owners overlooks the sea from Blackpool`s South Promenade. Hotel Skye is adjacent to the Pleasure Beach. Ideal for a holiday or Illuminations break, the hotel is close to the Sandcastle Complex, Grosvenor Casino and South Pier. Hotel Skye is known for its friendly service and good food. Enjoy clean en suite accommodation and a very satisfying breakfast. There is a well-stocked bar, ample parking and free Wi-Fi access. There is also a chairlift to the first floor. There is a large bar-lounge and dance floor with weekend entertainment (subject to guest numbers) a quiet lounge and a cabaret bar. A children`s game room has video games and 3 pool tables. There are a number of excellent family-run restaurants in the local area, offering everything from Italian to Chinese cuisine. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: 50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. Payment Information: The hotel charges GBP 3 when a credit card is used for payment. There is no charge for debit cards. By Car: - Take the M55 (from the M6) towards Blackpool. - At the end of the motorway, turn left towards Blackpool Airport. - Keep going past the Airport, which should be on your left, until you meet the Sea Front. - Turn Right onto the Promenade. - Look out for the hotel on the right-hand side, with its prominent blue sign about 1/2 mile along. It would be appreciated if you could give an approximate time of arrival. A short ride on Blackpool`s famous tramway will take you to most other attractions including Blackpool Tower, the central and north piers, Fleetwood Market, the Winter Gardens and theatres.
