Hotel Pension Sonnenuhr ***Situated in the idyllic mountain village of Tauplitz in the Styrian Salzkammergut, the Hotel Pension Sonnenuhr is an ideal starting point for mountain bikers and hikers in summer, and for skiers and cross-country skiers in winter. The hotel is right next to the ski slope and only about 50 metres away from the valley station of the 4-seated chair lift taking you up to the Tauplitzalm mountain pasture, at 1,600 metres above sea level. The Hotel Sonnenuhr offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Grimming, one of Europe’s biggest isolated mountains. All rooms have breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Hotel facilities include a sauna, a cosy hotel bar, an Internet corner, a children’s playroom and a games room with pinball machine and tabletop football. All children from 3 to 7 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. All children from 8 to 12 years are charged EUR 45.00 per night and person for extra beds.
