Wayby Country Retreat offers private cottage-style accommodation with countryside views, just 1 hour’s drive from Auckland. The property features farm animals and offers horse riding activities.

Each cottage at Wayby Country Retreat Warkworth features basic cooking facilities, including a microwave, toaster and refrigerator. All bed linen and towels are provided. The bathroom is in the building next door.

Breakfast is available each morning and barbecue facilities are provided. Guests receive complimentary organic fruit when in season and collect free-range eggs for breakfast.

The shops, art/craft galleries, vineyards, restaurants, cafes and bars of Warkworth are only a 10-minute drive away. Wellsford Golf Course is just 3 minutes’ drive away. Wayby Country Retreat is close to beaches and outdoor activities.

Scuba diving packages and discounted horse riding can be booked (in advance, by prior arrangement). Your hosts speak English, Dutch, German and Cantonese.
