The Ship Hotel ***A former 18th century coaching inn, this tastefully refurbished hotel is surrounded by countryside, just a half hour drive from London Heathrow. Children older than 16 year are considered adult for room occupancy. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 10:00. Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:30. Dinner is served from 18:30 until 21:30. Price of Full English Breakfast (if not included in Price of Room): 14.95 GBP. Reservations must be cancelled one day in advance of your arrival date. In the event of a no show or a cancellation in breach of this policy, an amount equivalent to one night average cost of accommodation will be charged. By Car: From the M25: - Exit the M25 at junction 11 (signposted to Chertsey). - At the roundabout, take the 1st left (the A317 to Weybridge) and follow the road until you meet a roundabout. - Go straight across, and do the same at the next 2 roundabouts. - At the next roundabout, take a left turn into Weybridge High Street and The Ship Hotel is on the left hand side at the end of the High Street, opposite the monument. From the A3: - Exit the M25 at junction 10 onto the A3 (head towards London). - Take the 1st exit left onto the A245 (Byfleet Road). - At the 1st roundabout, turn right onto the B374 (Brooklands Road). - Go over the 1st roundabout, staying on Brooklands Road. - At the next roundabout, turn right onto the B373 (Hanger Hill). - Continue to the roundabout, where you turn left onto the A317, down Monument Hill. - The Ship Hotel is located at the bottom of the road, next to the monument. Nearby attractions include: Brooklands Museum (3.7 km / 2.3 miles) - on 30 acres of the original 1907 race track, the museum features several fully restored period rooms and buildings, amid a large collection of historic cars, motorcycles and over 30 aircraft. Painshill Park (6.8 km / 4.2 miles) - one of the most important 18th century parks in Europe, its 160 acres include a Gothic temple, Chinese bridge, crystal grotto, 18th century plantings, Turkish tent, Gothic tower, newly restored hermitage, working vineyard, giant waterwheel and a 14 acre Serpentine lake. Thorpe Park (7.4 km / 4.6 miles) - fun for all ages, with numerous rides including the Slammer, the 1st free-fall ride outside of the US.
