Swiss Cottage B & B Just For Non Smokers ***Set in the popular coastal resort of Great Yarmouth, this charming period guesthouse offers a peaceful night’s sleep in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with views over the Venetian waterways gardens towards the sea. Designed over 3 floors, Swiss Cottage Bed and Breakfast features 9 comfortable en suite guestrooms, a welcoming reception and lounge area and a light and airy breakfast room. To the rear of the property is a private courtyard where you can leave your car as you head out to explore the area. Conveniently located, Swiss Cottage has a bus stop directly outside which will take you to the town centre, home to a variety of shops, restaurant and bars. The wider Norfolk area is also easily accessible by car. A full English breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room, alongside a choice of fruit juice, grapefruit and cereals. The breakfast is prepared using fresh locally bought produce. Freshly brewed coffee and tea are also served. Vegetarian option available on prior request. The accommodation is just for non-smokers and does not have any facilities for smokers. Please do not book if anyone in your group is a smoker. Should anyone be found to be a smoker they will be refused entry or asked to leave with no refund. Dogs are welcome in selected rooms but on the condition they are not left alone in the rooms. For example at breakfast dogs are to be put into the car after their morning walk. A refundable deposit is taken, currently GBP 30, and paid back one week after departure. By Train: The nearest station is Great Yarmouth Vauxhall Station (1.3 km away). A number of local taxis firms are available to get you to Swiss Cottage Hotel Bed and Breakfast. By Car: From either the A12 or the A47: - Join the A149 Acle New Road. - Travel over the bridge to the main roundabout where you will see Staples store on the right. - Take the first exit, left, onto Lawn Avenue (still A149) heading towards Caister. - Follow the road up to the first set of traffic lights beside the Blue Bus Company and turn right into Northgate Street. - Take the first left turn into Salisbury Road and follow this until you reach the T-junction at the main promenade road, North Drive. - Turn right and follow the road for around 400 metres and you will see Swiss Cottage sign on your right. - Take the next turning on the right to get to the car park. Located in North Drive, right on Great Yarmouth’s seafront, Swiss Cottage is just a few hundred metres from the shoreline. This period accommodation is ideal for a restful break, as it is slightly away from the main Golden Mile, yet within a 10 or 15-minute stroll of all the town’s entertainment. The main market shopping area is around 20 minutes` walk away. With the bed and breakfast as a comfortable base, you can explore all that Great Yarmouth has to offer, including the Pleasure Beach, Britannia Pier, Great Yarmouth Potteries, Wellington Pier and Merrivale Model Village. There are plenty of activities to enjoy in the area surrounding the hotel, including Karting 2000, Amazonia - World of Reptiles, Hippodrome Circus and the Sea Life Centre. You could catch a film at the town’s Hollywood cinema or visit Great Yarmouth Racecourse or Great Yarmouth Stadium. There are plenty of museums in the area, providing a fascinating insight into the region’s history. Nearby historical attractions include Yesterday`s World, the Tide and Time Museum, the Nelson Museum and Nelson`s Monument. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and Caister Life Boat are also well worth a visit.
