Hotel Miniatur **This hotel is located right in the heart of Hanover, within comfortable walking distance of many of the city`s most popular tourist attractions. From the hotel`s location, in front of the old city gates, you can quickly explore the city centre. The railway station, the theatre, the opera, the Machsee and the the `old town` are all just a few minutes walk away. The nearby underground station "Kropcke", just 3 minutes from the hotel, provides you with swift access to the wider reaches of the city, allowing you to reach the exhibition centres in just 18 minutes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast in its breakfast room every morning between 07:00 and 10:00. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. By car: From the North: - From the A7 motorway join the A37 motorway - Continue to the Pferdeturmkreuzung where you turn right (before the underpass) into Hans-Boeckler-Allee, towards Zentrum. This road turns into Marienstrasse - Now follow the signs to Landtag. Go across Aegidientorplatz into Friedrichswall - After about 500 m you will see the Neue Rathaus (New Town Hall) on your right-hand side. Take a right at the next traffic lights into Karmarschstrasse and then take the second left into Schmiedstrasse - The hotel is located along the second street on the right (Seilwinder Strasse). From the South: - Exit towards Messe at the A7 motorway junction Hannover-Süd. - You are now on the A37 motorway which you follow towards Messe. This will take you onto the Messeschnellweg (dual carriageway), which you should follow to the Hannover Zentrum junction. - The road will turn into the Südschnellweg. Exit at the Döhren junction. Turn right at the next set of traffic lights, into Hildesheimer Strasse. Carry on for 3 km until you reach Aegidientorplatz - Now follow the signs to Landtag. Go across Aegidientorplatz into Friedrichswall - After about 500 m you will see the Neue Rathaus (New Town Hall) on your right-hand side. Take a right at the next traffic lights into Karmarschstrasse and then take the second left into Schmiedstrasse - The hotel is located along the second street on the right (seilwinder Strasse). The hotel has its own car park (EUR 10 per day). By public transport: The nearest U-bahn (underground) station to the hotel is Kröpcke, a 3-minute walk from the hotel`s front steps. Kröpcke can be reached from the Hauptbahnhof (central railway station) by lines 3, 7, 8 and 9 (Journey time: around 2 minutes). Marktkirche (200 m) - In the heart of the charming old town, near the old town hall, this restored 14th century church is the most southerly example of a north German Gothic brick church. Opera House (400 m) - Why not see a ballet or opera during your stay in this attractive mid-19th century building?
