If you wish to travel with your pet, please check in advance with the hotel. Zermatt is a car-free resort. Arrival by car: Park at Täsch . On request, the hotel reserves a parking space at the car park `Fredy` in Täsch (chf 10, per day). You can continue your journey to Zermatt either by taxi or by train (departure every 20 minutes). Arrival by train: There are direct train connections in Brig and Visp to the modern narrow-gauge Matterhorn Gotthard railway, which arrives in Zermatt after a 90-minute journey through the romantic, rugged Vispa Valley. At Zermatt train station: You can call the hotel (telephone free of charge) which organises the transfer with an `electro taxi` at a price of chf 5, per person or you can make a 10-minute walk to the hotel. The car-free resort of Zermatt is located at an altitude of 1620 meters in the south-west of Switzerland. This idyllic village in the Matter Valley nestles amongst fabulous scenery of mountains and glaciers and offers visitors a fantastic panorama of 33 four-thousand-metre peaks.
