Hotel Stadt Schlitz **Boasting an easily accessible location close to the A7 motorway (just 13 kilometres from the exit Hünfeld/Schlitz) you find our family-run hotel in the heart of the castle town of Schlitz. Here you can stay in modern guest rooms with warm colours and contemporary facilities. Personal service and inviting interiors await you here. Restaurant opening hours: Tuesday - Sunday: 11:00 - 14:30; 17:00 - 22:30 Monday: closed Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 7 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless Internet Hotspot is available in the entire hotel and charges are applicable. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. In Schlitz and the surrounding area, you can leave your everyday worries far behind. The countryside invites you to take leisurely walks or more demanding hikes. Leave your car behind - the tracks begin right in front of the hotel. Attractive cycle paths nearby provide recreation for the whole family, and enable access to the R1 and "Vulkan-Radweg" cycle paths. The area also lends itself to mountain biking for the more experienced cyclist. You can also take canoe trips along small rivers and enjoy the unspoilt wildlife. Schlitz has 2 outdoor tennis courts which can be used throughout the year (except during snowy and rainy weather), but you may also use the indoor tennis courts at Bad Salzschlirf or Lauterbach. On request, we can provide a shuttle service to these courts. In the summer a spacious heated outdoor pool is available, with areas for the whole family.
