There are two historical settlements near Myrtos and a Roman bath in the west of the village. Visitors will enjoy exploring the ancient sites around the village and along the small hills of the area. Myrtos Vally is home to the largest rocky bridge of Crete and Crete’s famous gorges, Sarakina and Selakano, are also close by. Boat journeys from Ierapetra to the famous Chrissi Island happen frequently during the day and take just 50 minutes.
